Precautions for carbonization furnace in charcoal production
In charcoal production, the carbonization furnace is the key equipment for carbonizing wood. Here are a few key steps in charcoal production:
Raw material preparation:
First of all, wood raw materials suitable for carbonization need to be prepared. Commonly used wood materials include teak, oak, pine and so on. The raw material should have the proper moisture and size, and usually needs to be cut and stacked for a period of time to make it suitable for entering the carbonization furnace for processing.
Carbonization Furnace Loading:
The prepared wood raw materials are loaded into the carbonization furnace. Charring furnaces usually have opening and closing loading doors for easy loading and unloading of wood. The loading of raw materials should pay attention to the appropriate stacking density and uniformity to ensure the uniformity and high efficiency of the carbonization process.
Carbonization process:
After loading the wood, the carbonization furnace starts the carbonization process. This is a process that takes place in a high temperature, low oxygen environment. The wood in the carbonization furnace is pyrolyzed under high temperature conditions, the volatile substances in it are released, and the wood fiber structure is gradually transformed into a carbonaceous structure. This process requires strict control of the temperature, oxygen supply and other parameters in the carbonization furnace to ensure the quality and efficiency of carbonization.
Carbonization time:
Charring time depends on the type of wood, humidity, design of the charring furnace, and the desired final charcoal quality. Typically, the charring process takes hours to days. During this process, the temperature and atmosphere conditions in the carbonization furnace need to be continuously monitored and adjusted to ensure the smooth progress of carbonization.
Carbonization furnace cooling and unloading:
After the carbonization process is completed, the carbonization furnace needs to be cooled. The purpose of cooling is to reduce the temperature inside the carbonization furnace to ensure safe discharge operation. Once the charring furnace has cooled to a sufficient temperature, the charcoal can be removed from the charring furnace. The charcoal taken out needs further processing, such as sieving, crushing and packaging, etc. to obtain the final charcoal product.
