High pressure ball press

High pressure ball pressing machine belongs to a type of ball pressing machine, as the name suggests, referring to ball pressing equipment with relatively high pressure. From a structural perspective, it has no fundamental difference from ordinary briquette ball pressing machines. It is also transmitted to the reducer through a motor belt, and the powder material is finally balled by rotating the opposite rollers through split gears. But this is just a superficial phenomenon. Due to the increase in forming pressure, all components of the system need to be strengthened accordingly. For example, the body needs to be more compact, the heat treatment hardness of the roller skin needs to be higher, ordinary cast steel cannot be used for gears, and the traditional nailing method cannot be used for the top tightening system of the roller. A series of work needs to be done, some of which cannot be directly reflected through modifications.

Applicable materials

ordinary briquette briquetting machines, high-pressure briquetting machines are generally suitable for pressing materials with the following characteristics: the materials are relatively fine, the viscosity is very low, and some materials have a large specific gravity, and cannot be added with water. Most of them are only suitable for dry pressing. Such as aluminum ash powder, silicon manganese ore powder, rare earth powder, gypsum powder, etc. Some materials even  a small amount of adhesive to be pressed into shape, but the premise is that the added adhesive cannot change the content of the main elements in the material after balling, and cannot increase the cost too much, in order to have economic benefits.

Application field

High pressure ball pressing machine is mainly used for making balls and blocks of non-ferrous and ferrous metal ore powder, directly entering the furnace for smelting, and increasing added value. All metallurgical industry waste and auxiliary materials that need to be fed into the furnace  a ball press to complete. For example, dust removal ash, sludge, oxide skin, steel slag, iron concentrate powder, aluminum ash powder, silicon manganese ore powder, and so on.

Construction principle

Our company's high-pressure ball press adopts a screw feeding device, which is driven by a speed regulating motor and is driven by a belt pulley and reducer to force the material into the feeding port. The high-pressure ball pressing machine is equipped with protective devices, which not only ensure the normal operation of the machine, but also protect the operators of the machine, making it more convenient to operate the machine.

Equipment debugging

After the installation of each ball pressing machine, individual debugging should be carried out first, which can reduce the burden of debugging the entire system.
